SNOW!!!!

WOW! The other day when everyone was posting pictures of all the snow they received I, however, did not get any. =( Imagine my disappointment, well rather my kids' disappointment.

Today was the best day ever! We got so much snow. It started snowing around 9 this morning and has not stopped. When it first started it looked just like this....
...No snow that stuck on the ground. =( I had not been too sad about it because I've been freezing my butt off for the past couple days. It's not like me to be cold. I was still wearing flip-flops to get Natalie from school up until last week. Anyway, a couple hours later, around lunchtime or so, my car looked like this.......a little bit was sticking but not too much to build anything in. Plus it was all on top of my car and the gazebo in the backyard. The kids were so excited just to see something other than the normal sites we see every day. It started snowing a little harder and then the backyard looked like this....
...there was probably about a good 2-3 inches by this point. The kids were having a blast. They kept yelling through the door saying, "Mom, look how many footprints I made!" It was fun having them yell through the door saying things like that. Quite amusing. Of course this is not the most we got. These next pictures I took no more than an hour ago....There was so much snow all over the place. Even when we stepped in it our footprints would be covered up within minutes.
Look! We even have enough snow left over to build about 10 more snowmen! Too bad I live so far away. Vance could come play with us and build an army of snowmen.

So for playing all day in the snow I'd say the kids were pretty cold and very numb. All of their hands were red. So of course we do the best thing we could do for cold, numb hands. We made hot chocolate of course! =) We had very good and very warm hot chocolate. It even had the little marshmallows in it already!! We finally got our snow and now sitting very warm in the house by the fire drinking hot chocolate. Life is grand.

Usually Kenzi dances and sings along with Camp Rock. For some reason she wasn't cooperating with me.

This one Kenzi ran in my room and started singing this and I told her to hold on so I could get the camera.

Camp Rock is one of our favorites in my house. The girls, along with myself, know the entire movie by heart. This is how much we watch this movie. Now I never want to watch it again, but since I have the songs stuck in my head I HAVE to watch it to get them out of my head. Not sure how that works but it works for me.

Halloween Costumes...

Bailey was a Dragon Fairy, Natalie was a Popstar, Kylie was Cinderella, and Kenzi was a witch.
Kenzi's candy got too heavy for her to carry so she started dragging it. She wouldn't let anyone help her.
All of Natalie's candy. All of them got about the same amount. We had a good Halloween this year. The girls had a lot of fun and are ready for next year.

Cutest Thing...

This morning as I was on my way back from taking Natalie to school. Mackenzi wanted to stop a little ways from home, get out and run home. All my girls have gotten in the habit of wanting to do this. So cute. But this morning, Mackenzi didn't have shoes on. This is the conversation we had.

Mackenzi: "Mom, can I run home?"
Mom: "Kenz, you don't have shoes on."
Mackenzi: "I have pretend shoes on."
Mom: "Well, you still can't sweetie. Not this time."
Mackenzi: "But I have pretend shoes on."

I couldn't help but to laugh and tell her I love her. She's just so darn cute. When I got home I told Connie, my mother-in-law, about it and we both started laughing hysterically.

Another thing she does is when she asks to go to Grandma's house she always includes cousin Vance. This is a typical conversation about Grandma's house.

Mackenzi: "Mom, can we go to grandma's house please?"
Mom: "I don't know I'll have to call her first. Do you want to see Grandma?"
Mackenzi: "And cousin Vance. But not cousin Reed. Cousin Vance!"

She loves Grandma but seems she loves cousin Vance just a little more. =)

Kylie is the queen of hair accessories. She LOVES to put clips and headbands and anything you can think of she'll put it in her hair. I don't have a picture for some reaon but next time it happens I will be sure to get pictures.

All of my girls love to play video games. I think they mostly get that from their dad. Throughout the time they play these games, they are always saying, "Hey mom!! Look at me." "Watch me." They are getting very good at their games.

Well, that is all the cute things my kids do for right now. I'm sure something will happen tomorrow or even later today. =)

Unfortunate News....

So my mom text me this morning telling me my Uncle Herman had passed away. I felt sad, but the weird part is I haven't cried. For the past week or so I have been feeling emotional less. I don't really know how else to explain it but there have been several things that have been upsetting and there have been a few things I should have cried over but...I didn't. I feel the sadness about my Uncle's death but the emotion has shown. Just by looking at me or talking to me you would have never known anything bad had happened.

About an hour ago I picked Natalie up from school and when we got home she was upset at me and started crying and I knew what was wrong but being a mom I asked her anyway. "Natalie what's wrong?" No answer. So instead of getting upset or raising my voice a little bit cause she wouldn't talk to me like I have done in the past (horrible mistake) I just said very calmly, "Ok, go to your room then please." She went to her room and that was that. I was very surprised at myself for being so calm the last couple days. I like this new me because I haven't been losing my temper at all. Very much an improvement since last year. I just don't know about anything anymore. I just don't care about anything anymore. But somehow that just doesn't seem true because I still love my kids and my Matt. But other then that I just don't care. Something is wrong with me and I would like help to fix it. I'd rather not see a shrink though. Matt was messing around with me and said I was bipolar.

I'll figure it out someway. Hopefully Matt will take this more serious when I talk to him when he gets home tonight. Other than that things are going very well at the Price home.

We Work too Hard....

As you can see, we work way too hard during the day. =) Ok so maybe not but we just took time out to play the Wii for a while. =) Kenzi is bowling in this one and she is getting really good. She occasionally needs help but not as much anymore.
This is Kenzi playing the new game we just got. It's really fun. Matt and I are almost at the end of the game already. This is pretty much all the kids want to do. Luckily when they are bowling or playing any of the sports games they have to stand up and get some exercise. It's really fun for all of us. We very much enjoy our Wii. Thank you Jay!! =) You do so much for us and I appreciate it more than you will know. Thanks for being there for us.

Other than Wii Time, I usually get as much as I can done during the day before I need to pick Natalie up from school. It's been REALLY nice now that she is in school all day now. I don't need to rush to get things done. I'm enjoying her being in school than she is. haha Its been really fun though. She loves it. She's learning a lot.

Then there is Kylie and Kenzi who are playing the Wii or on the computer and just playing games all day. They are having fun too. =)

Matt is working hard at work. He's been having some neck and back problems which I can't seem to fix as a Massage Therapist. So I've been trying to get him to check on the insurance policy they have at work so he can go see a Chiropractor. He needs to see one really bad. If they say that massage every week for how ever long will help then it's massages for Matt every week. It's been tough on him but he's hanging in there. I'll keep you posted on him as soon as we find out what the deal is.

Nothing really new with me. Just getting music together for my mom. I can't seem to figure out what music Jared used to listen to. It's been way too long and I can't remember. But it's been fun for me to listen to music and just relax.

Bailey is doing really good too. She's doing fantastic in school. She recently had a progress report and she got straight A's. I'm so proud of her. School has been really good for her so far. She usually comes over here on the weekends which is no problem. We love having her here with us. I know that she is safe when she's here. I think thats why she comes over here so often is that she feels safe with us and there isn't any fighting or contension going on, unlike with her mother. She always ends up fighting with her mother and its so said because they get out of hand and Bailey ends up crying and calling me to see if I'll come get her. I'm glad that she knows that I'm here especially in these situations.

Anyway, that is the exciting life of The Price Family. Oh and one more thing.

I miss my best friend. =(
