It's been a while...

Wow! It's been a while since I updated. There are a lot of pictures I need to post. Starting with Kenzi's birthday. I still haven't put those up. So the next post will be pictures of Kenzi's birthday, easter, and a few swimming pictures. =)

Exciting News....

Every week my brother Jared writes my mom and email. He gets way too many letters to respond to all of them. So he reads them and writes one big letter to my mom and she forwards it to everyone else. This week, he wrote that he'll be coming home no later than June 3rd!!! How exciting is that!!! I am so thrilled. Finally after 2 very long years without him he's coming home.
I know for me since I've got 3 crazy wild kids, those 2 years went by pretty quick. But after stopping for a while and thinking of how long its actually been since I've seen Jared, it really has been 2 very long years. Hopefully sometime soon he'll know more of when transfers will be.

Things will be really different for him when he's back.

This is Natalie, I think of May, 2007. We were taking family pictures right before Jared left.

Natalie was getting her teeth brushed before she went to bed. January 2009.

This was in September of 2007. Kylie of course being Kylie.

Kylie playing at the park January 2009.

This was August 2007. Just after Jared left.

Don't let that innocent smile fool you! She's planning something. This was just a few days ago on Matt's birthday. March 10, 2009.

My kids have grown so much. Natalie has lost more teeth, Kylie is still as skinny but much taller and Jared will hardly recognize Mackenzi.
This is Vance during Thanksgiving of 2007. Not quite walking yet.
This was beginning of March 2009. Carter was being blessed and the kids were playing outside burying each other in the "sandbox" my mom has in her backyard.

I put sandbox in quotes because its really just a dirt pile. It's not where it's suppose to be yet. Either procrastination or laziness has taken over. =D I love you mom! This is Carter after he was born January 15, 2009. Jared will definitely not know Carter.

This is Carter on his blessing day. He just got done with a feeding and being burped.

As for Kimberli's kids, he won't even know Carter. Vance will be so grown up he'll barely recognize him either.
This is little Tyson. Also known as Reed. He was just born on March 14, 2008.
This is at Christmas 2008. This is the last time I got to see Reed before they went back home to Washington D.C. He has grown a lot since this picture. I think he's almost walking now.

Tyson's son, Reed, Jared has never met either. It'll be interesting to see Jared's reaction to all of these new little people. It'll be really fun. I'm very excited to see Jared again. Anyway, I will dedicate a whole post just for pictures such as Mackenzi's birthday. =)

Updates....

Wow! A lot has happened since I last updated. Kenzi is now potty trained, for the most part. She has accidents every now and then but still is doing really well. She'll be able to go all by herself without me asking her in no time. She is so excited that she's 3! Since her birthday she's been telling everyone, "I'm 3, not 2 anymore." She of course, thanks to her sisters, has this little attitude look when she says it. She's so cute though. She's been fighting a lot more with Kylie when Natalie is at school. Which I figure is normal. I'm sure I did it with my sisters. Kenzi is growing very tall and looking more like me everyday. The only real difference is she has blondish redish hair. It does seem to be darkening. Don't worry, I'll post pictures.

Natalie had been sick for this last week of school but, of course like any other 7 year old, she wants to play outside and with all the toys and, her favorite, the Xbox. She not only wants to play Halo but also use the headset and have the microphone RIGHT next to her mouth. Why would she want to do this you ask? Well, to get her sick germs on everything so everyone else will be sick with her. She still is not sick enough to stay home from school. I know, I'm the meanest mom in the whole world. I've been making sure she's dressed warm and when she coughs, cough INTO her arm and not on everyone else. She's doing a lot better and getting toward the end. Hopefully we can get through this sickness without passing it to everyone.

Kylie is and always will be Kylie. She loves riding her bike and, now that we got a new tarp, jumping on the trampoline. She is, unfortunately, becoming more of a bully and pushing Kenzi over. We still have a lot to work on with her before she starts school this fall. That is a very scary thought. When I first met Kylie is was almost 10 months old. Yes, you heard me right. 10 MONTHS! And now, she's going to be 6 in October! How crazy and scary is that?!?! We've been trying to teach her to tie her own shoes. She almost has it. She should be ready to do it herself when she starts school.

More exciting news for Matt and me. We've been looking at getting a house this year! Hopefully if everything goes how it should we can put a down payment on a house we found. It's a foreclosure but really nice. Hopefully we can get down there soon and talk to the owners about it. We shall see what happens though. I'll keep everyone posted about it.

Everything otherwise is going great! I'm actually hoping to go see my cousin Julie to get my hair done. Matt is still working with Southwest Gas. He doesn't have much to do on most days. So lucky for me I get to talk to him over messenger. It's been good to talk to him during the day, especially if I need to talk to him about anything important. Well, time to look for pictures to put up here.

Too Cute...

I know I know...another blog so soon. =) But I must tell everyone what Mackenzi did today.

I heard Kenzi crying for me this morning so I went upstairs and got her. I wanted to take a shower before Natalie and Kylie got up. So Kenzi and I got in the shower. After we had gotten out I was getting dressed but my white bra wasn't in the drawer. Good thing I knew exactly where it was. As I was walking over to where it was, Kenzi asked what I was looking for. I told her I was looking for my bra. About that same time I had grabbed it off the floor and she says, "You found it!" As always she had a huge smile on her face. As I was putting it on she says, "I don't wear bras." And I tell her, " Nope, not yet but you will." Then she tells me. " I don't think I'm allowed to have boobs." I try to keep from laughing and tell her, " When you get older you'll get boobs because you're a girl." Then she tells me, " Yeah, like you." I tell her " Yeah, but not Dad cause he's a boy." Kenzi says, " Yeah, he's a boy and I'm a girl."

She is just too cute. But on another exciting note, Natalie and I went for a bike ride today! But of course every 15 minutes since we've been back she's asked to go on another bike ride.

Oh the random cute things my children do. Hopefully I'll have another update soon with Christmas and New Years pictures. I did post them up on Facebook though. =)

Jen did it...

Jen did it so now I have to cause I waste alot of time on the computer as well. :) but we like it. It's fun! Anyway, Here it goes....

MY AGE: 23
Of course it had to be this movie. I'm at the perfect age. lol This was a very good movie. I like it.

MY FAVORITE COLOR: RedThis really was the best Picture. Everything else was...well...boring.

MY FAVORITE VACATION: San Diego in 2008My family and I went to San Diego and went to Sea World and such. It was a nice break away from the kids. But it would have been a lot better if they could have come with me. Oh and Matt. lol Got to fix a little problem first and then he can come on family trips. =)

WHERE I LIVE: Las VegasOk so technically I live in Henderson but I live in Vegas. It just kind of merges into one city.

WHERE I GREW UP: Las Vegas
The one and only.

WHERE I'D LIKE TO TRAVEL: ItalyI've always wanted to learn Italian and always have wanted to go to this beautiful country but of course everything requires money. So, maybe in a few years or after I get married sometime I'll be able to go.

MY FAVORITE FOOD: ItalianAnd yet just another reason to go visit Italy.

MY FAVORITE TREAT: Candy

This is Kenzi's favorite treat. I couldn't think of one cause lately I haven't eaten any treats. The whole diet/losing weight thing gets in the way. So I asked Kenzi what her favorite was and she told me candy.

MY FAVORITE ANIMAL: Dog

I didn't want to pick the same picture as Jen, although it was the cutest one on there, so I picked this one. Still really cute.

A PAST LOVE: Dr. Pepper
Past love??? What am I thinking?? It's STILL a love! Although I don't drink it as much anymore, so I guess it still counts. =)

MY FIRST NAME: KrystalOk, I had to pick this one because it was the only appropriate one on there. Most of them were of models practically naked. They were showing way more skin then anyone should.

MY MIDDLE NAME:
AnnOk so not sure who this Ann Harrison is but the only picture with a decent background. Every single picture on there was of a person.

MY LAST NAME: Walker
HAHAHA!!! How fun is this. No explaination needed. Got to love my last name.

MY (soon-to-be) LAST NAME: Price
YES! I was hoping this was gonna be on the first page. Best game show EVER!

WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW: Making lunch while finishing this blogYep, this is what most days look like. Except I'm usually eating what the kids are eating. And it's usually not sandwiches.

Alright people. It's your turn. Everyone that wants to do this is welcome to. It took too long for me since I've always got a million things to do all at once. Got to love the family life. I sure do! =) I'll post pictures of New Years and Christmas another time.

SNOW!!!!

WOW! The other day when everyone was posting pictures of all the snow they received I, however, did not get any. =( Imagine my disappointment, well rather my kids' disappointment.

Today was the best day ever! We got so much snow. It started snowing around 9 this morning and has not stopped. When it first started it looked just like this....
...No snow that stuck on the ground. =( I had not been too sad about it because I've been freezing my butt off for the past couple days. It's not like me to be cold. I was still wearing flip-flops to get Natalie from school up until last week. Anyway, a couple hours later, around lunchtime or so, my car looked like this.......a little bit was sticking but not too much to build anything in. Plus it was all on top of my car and the gazebo in the backyard. The kids were so excited just to see something other than the normal sites we see every day. It started snowing a little harder and then the backyard looked like this....
...there was probably about a good 2-3 inches by this point. The kids were having a blast. They kept yelling through the door saying, "Mom, look how many footprints I made!" It was fun having them yell through the door saying things like that. Quite amusing. Of course this is not the most we got. These next pictures I took no more than an hour ago....There was so much snow all over the place. Even when we stepped in it our footprints would be covered up within minutes.
Look! We even have enough snow left over to build about 10 more snowmen! Too bad I live so far away. Vance could come play with us and build an army of snowmen.

So for playing all day in the snow I'd say the kids were pretty cold and very numb. All of their hands were red. So of course we do the best thing we could do for cold, numb hands. We made hot chocolate of course! =) We had very good and very warm hot chocolate. It even had the little marshmallows in it already!! We finally got our snow and now sitting very warm in the house by the fire drinking hot chocolate. Life is grand.

Usually Kenzi dances and sings along with Camp Rock. For some reason she wasn't cooperating with me.

This one Kenzi ran in my room and started singing this and I told her to hold on so I could get the camera.

Camp Rock is one of our favorites in my house. The girls, along with myself, know the entire movie by heart. This is how much we watch this movie. Now I never want to watch it again, but since I have the songs stuck in my head I HAVE to watch it to get them out of my head. Not sure how that works but it works for me.
